In her first photo book, photographer Rachel Brennecke (aka Bon Jane) captures the prismatic quality of female vulnerability. At the heart of the book is an exploration of female vulnerability — as an adult, as a child, as an object, as a sexual being. The portraits convey a delicate sadness referencing the classic myth of the Hollywood fallen angel. - J.L. Sirisuk, i-D Magazine

Through her words and images you can feel boldness, sincerity and profoundness; and someone creating feelings and moments of escapism, beauty, thoughtfulness.  - Sigrun Guggenberger, Creator C-Heads Magazine

She uses young female characters and a super sharp lens to examine provocative themes of womanhood, objectification and vulnerability.
- Jackie Roman, American Photo
